I heard that this is the last year for the HPC because of economic reasons

At one time we were seriously considering canceling the tournament for 2003. Recently we have changed our minds and have decided to just have one 16 team bracket for next year. We will keep this format as long as it is profitable. The only way for us to be a large tournament again would be with increased sponsorship. At the present time that is hard to come by.

So what kind of teams are gonna be in the single bracket? Any committments for 2003? All real good teams? Or more middle of the pack? What direction is this tourney going? It's always been the best... will it continue to be?
